«Potager Du Roi»

Potager du Roi Gardens are unique heritage of Chateau de Gourdon Castle. This is a big vegetable garden, created by order of Louis XIV and located near Versailles. There were grown vegetables for the royal table, and later it was opened here the National Horticultural School, School of Landscape Design, Research and experimental garden centers. Unique garden demonstrates the achievements in gardening of three centuries and welcomes many tourists.

The rigor and sophistication,embodied in the gardens, are transmitted from the first floral notes of coriander, geranium and roses. Aroma with inclusions of lilyof the valley, jasmine and musk is asstrong spirit and steadfast, as the desire of the Sun King to rule over nature.
